After 10 years working for blue chip companies Jim left a senior management position to start his own business. Since then he has become a bit of a serial entrepreneur.
His first business started in 1983 was a pioneer in the Convenience Retailing revolution. It grew from one to five locations by 1991. In 1991 he sold up and moved with his young family to Florida.
While in Florida he owned three business: Fairchild International Inc. wholesalers of environment products, Dri-Master, Inc. a residential and commercial carpet cleaning company, and Sweet Bouquets, Inc wholesale confectionery floral bouquet company.
In 2000 he returned to his native Scotland and entered early retirement. However soon bored he took on the Master Franchise for Kleenaword, a Dry Cleaning company.
In 2005 Fyneside Developments Ltd was started, a property Development company completing it’s first new build, a 2,500 sq ft house in 2006.
One of the key skills in developing these businesses has been the use of Public Speaking Skills. So in 2004 Jim joined Toastmasters International to undergo formal training in Public Speaking Skills. Since then he has been assisting others to improve their public speaking skills and gained their highest recognition of Distinguished Toastmaster in 2009.
In the same year he travelled back to Florida to complete his NLP Practitioner training under Topher Morrison and he is now a fully qualified NLP Practitioner.
He now runs two businesses. Fyneside Development Ltd and Jim J Davidson Ltd.
Fyneside Developments is involved in New Builds, BMV (Below Market Valuation) property accusations, Property Sourcing, Project Management.
Jim J Davidson Ltd is involved in the transfer of information. This included training in Self Build, Property Accusations, Public Speaking Training, Wedding Speeches on line products, Key Life Skills, Entrepreneurship.
Jim is a Professional Speaker and Trainer.
